Please not with this glove for the price you only get ONE glove. For a fisherman who is right handed, holding his rod in his right hand, he would buy a left handed glove to hold the fish. Please note that I can only personally recommend the first pair of puncture proof gloves shown – the HexArmor SharpsMaster II glove as it is the only one that I have ever used below and above water. However, the HexArmor SharpsMaster HV 7082 looks like the updated SharpsMaster II glove with protection on the back of all fingers and a bit of the back of the hand.

I am not sure what the other two gloves would be like underwater in terms of gripping and letting go of the polespear. However, they look like they would definitely do the job above water.
